Allwright's School Of Driving

Many thanks to Allwright’s School of Driving and my instructor Patrick to help me pass my road test this summer.
I’m a new immigrant and I came to Rochester last year. Although I have had driving experience for more than ten years in my home country, I failed my road test here twice. I realized that there must be differences in some rules and I must change my bad habits to drive in US. I turned to Allwright’s this summer and succeeded passing the road test after two lessons. As a driving school, Allwright’s is definitely highly recommended to the persons like me.
It's fortunate to have Patrick as my instructor. He is always patient and encourages me a lot. His lesson began with basic but fundamental information like the color of road signs and the speed limit in city or town. He taught me how to operate the car and very detailed skills to do the turning, stopping, three-point turn and parallel parking, which I did really well in my road test. Above all, it’s Patrick who bears the safe driving in my mind. Thanks for calling me a smart girl. Now I can say I deserve the license I have got.

If you are a beginner driver like me and/or are looking for a driving school with trained instructors, then I would highly recommend Allwright's School of Driving. Not only did my awesome instructor (kudos Travis) teach me to be a safe driver, he also prepared me for my road test while at it. On test day, I was picked up, warmed up and adequately practiced my parallel parking (of which I was worried about) and then drove to the testing site. Needless to say I passed on First Attempt and Now I am a newly licensed driver in town. so exciting. ps: I also chose Allwright's SOD because they are open on saturdays too so for those workers who can't make it on weekdays then this is your best bet.

School was pretty good and the instructors I had were mostly nice! Was able to pass my road test on the first try!

Took the golden package with 2 more 1.5 hrs lessons and passed the road test on my first attempt(with barely any experience behind the wheel before the class)! Had my class with Patrick and his class was worthy, professional, funny, and totally stress-free! I would highly recommend this school to anyone with or without any driving experience.

The driving school gives a thorough and practical driving tips as well as tips on passing the road test. It was a great choice to learn from AllWright Driving School.

I passed in my first round. I brought a 5-lesson package and two additional lessons. Guys, if you are not confident of your driving skill please add more lessons, it will pay off itself. I had Patrick as my instructor, he's funny and extremely responsible. Last but not least, you are totally safe to drive with them.

I had a very little driving experience before I joined the AllWright Driving School. Once I joined the school I got to know where I am going wrong as a driver and what all things I should consider to be good at it. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Took the Zoom 5 hour course with Kerry. She was incredibly engaging and entertaining, while managing to be very educational. I've taken this course a couple of times with other driving schools, but this is the only course where I have left the class feeling more confident in my driving skills and my knowledge of the rules of the road. Her rules for the class are quite fair: show your face on screen, let her know when you need to use the restroom, and don't fall asleep.

She is understanding and will give multiple warnings for each offense, but she will also keep her word when she says she will remove you from the class after multiple warnings. Overall, the class is well worth the money and I highly recommend the Zoom 5 hour course with Kerry.

I would recommend people who don't have drivers' licenses in the states, especially foreigners to take the classes. It's way more efficient to know what should do and shouldn't do than researching online or learning from friends with reasonable cost. The instructor is full of experience and will help you as much as he can. Overall, excellent experience!

Definitely recommend this school for anyone has little driving experience! I took several lessons here and got the driver's license. The instructor is experienced and patient, helping you to pass the exam as soon as possible. Thank you for the great experience!

I brought the gold package, and gotten 5, 90min lessons. Taken 1 with Travis and the other 4 with Patrick. Not gonna lie, It was quite pleasant, in my own experience. They do tease and poke at you, but never have I had been screamed at even when I made some dangerous mistakes, instead they would go over what I did wrong. Over all the instructors were nice and funny, though Patrick can be overly expressive in other topics like politics.

I didn't really mind, it was quite funny to see him rant about politics. I would highly recommend, Allwright's School of Driving to anyone who seeks a calm and professional instructors.

I didn't have any experience driving when I first took classes. They were very understanding of my schedule. The instructors were very nice and patient; after about 6 classes I passed my road test!

I was a complete novice three months ago, and I didn't even touch the steering wheel before I signed up for the driving school. My friend recommended me to sign up for the All right driving school. Facts have proved that this is a completely correct decision. The owner of the driving school is an instructor with 43 years of teaching experience. He is very experienced in teaching and is humorous.

He not only taught me how to pass the exam, but also taught me how to practice highways and main roads, telling me how to predict risks and how to avoid them. In addition, his teaching style is very detailed and can basically cover all situations. After his training, I passed the road test once. Thanks to All Right driving school Boss.

Can't believe that I pass the driving test today. I would thank Allwright's School of Driving staff. They are patient, friendly, professional and experienced. Special thanks to Patrick who was my great instructor during this journey. He was not only helping me get my license but taught me very well how to be a good driver. Thanks for Nancy and Kerry for their great work to find me test or lessons appointments. I Highly recommend!

I took 2 classes 90 minute each with Patrick and 1 class 90 minute with Gary. All the classes were informative and worth taking. I had my test at Emerson & Glide and I passed it in my first test. The 45 minute practice with Gary before the test was very detailed, helpful and informative. You have to be calm and composed on your test. If you listen and follow all the instructions and practice, you will make it. I would definitely recommend to everyone who want to learn driving and take the test.
