Jason Park
I am just a simple, unsophisticated island boy from Hawaii. My wife and I have been calling California our home away from home since 1996. I am happily married to an amazing woman since college and we have four wonderful children together. Up until 2010, I had been working in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years. Since then, I have been pursuing a Masters degree at Talbot School of Theology, heeding the call to become a pastor at my later age. My loving wife says that I am a late bloomer but I think I am just a slow starter. Growing up in Hawaii, the ocean and surfing is an everlasting love of mine. My life revolves around church, family, school, and meeting vibrant young people (which I get to do on a daily basis as a driving instructor). With the little time I have left over, you will find me at the LA Fitness trying mightily to fulfill my midlife goal of becoming a participant and finisher in the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon.

I'm married with 3 kids, but my wife will tell you she just has 4 kids. Sophia is beautiful and funny. I really enjoy working with teens; been doing it for 15 years. The wife just says, "Birds of a feather, flock together." Live long and prosper. My Favorite model of car is the Range Rover Defender 90. When I'm not instructing driver training, you'll find me holding my breath 30ft underwater trying to shoot fish. You may be surprised to know that after playing the guitar for 20 years, I still don't know how to play Stairway to Heaven. When I was 16 years old, I broke 8 bricks with my head!
Lindsay Brooks
I have taught voice, guitar, piano and general music in the classroom and privately for 20 years. I am a graduate of Musician's Institute, a former songwriter/producer for legendary Motown music publisher, Jobete, and have created music for several major motion pictures. I love geeky pursuits like chess and philosophy, and I make a mean grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I am married to Jamiella and have 2 lovely, genius daughters. My favorite model of car is the Porche 918 Hybrid. 78MPG while idling and I'm pushing it from behind! When I'm not instructing driver training you'll find me planning harmless mischief. You may be surprised to know that I am on the radio nearly every week. When I was 16 years old I lived 15 miles from the future birthplace of Capt. James T. Kirk.

AP Driving School is the best! After I failed two tests, my fear in driving got worse. At the point I did not know what to do, I found AP driving school. My instructor, Jessica was amazing! She is cheerful but also crystal clear whenever she needs to. I had been confused over different traffic rules on the road and she cleared all the fog and confusion. Thank God, I finally got my license! I can't thank enough to her and AP driving school.

I had a good experience with the AP driving. I took only one driving class and the instructor was very patient with me. She explained everything, what all I need to clear my behind the wheel driving test. The only issue was it was quite costly. I took my behind the wheels driving test and cleared it in the first try.

So glad we found AP driving. My daughter has Jessica as her coach and she absolutely enjoy the experience. Jessica is sweet, super patient, accommodating and knowledgeable, she's a great driving teacher and fun to talk to! After each session Jessica would accompany my daughter to the door and give me a recap while answering any questions I have. My driving instructor, Allison was very professional and was always clear on when to take turns and when to stop. Thanks to her, i was able to pass my behind-the-wheel test on the first try! (My google name is different from my actual name) I wish i could give Allison a gift card for Starbucks or something. 10/10 would pay to let her teach my sister too!

I had a good experience. I had Jason Park as my instructor for all 3 lessons and I cannot complain. Jason was a very good teacher and taught me a lot about being on the road in the drivers seat. Jason had very good methods of teaching and was able to give me a very calming and easy experience learning how to drive. Jason was also on time when he had picked me up and getting me back to my house and had communicated very efficiently when it came to scheduling lessons.
I highly recommend AP Driving and highly recommend taking your lessons with Jason for a nice and easy driving experience. Thanks to Jason and his teachings, I am happily on the road with my license.

Nothing but praise for AP Driving School! The owner, Jason Park, and my 15 year old daughter's driving instructor, Lupe, were very friendly, professional, and accommodating to our schedules to ensure my daughter could complete all of her behind the wheel lessons in a timely manner. Lupe was not only friendly with a lot of positive energy, but she was also very patient and communicative, so my daughter felt comfortable and less nervous about driving being a first time driver. It was a great experience for my teenage daughter and for myself!

Selena was very good with my teen daughter. She was very patient communicated well for appointments and prepared my daughter for her driver's test which she passed with flying colors. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I purchased the freeway package and unfortunately my daughter was never taken on the freeway. Other than that I still highly recommend this school.

I highly recommend AP Driving School. My daughter had 3 lessons with Keilana. She has a lovely manner that put my daughter at ease, connected well with her that made her feel that she would do well. I saw her confidence grow to tackle that final test. She scored 100%! She could not have done this without AP driving school. A shoutout to this company and Keilana.

I had an overall positive experience with Randy. He gave useful advice and some specific hints for passing the behind the wheel test in Davis (which I successfully completed). I took one star off because I believe discussing politics and conspiracy theories related to COVID-19 pandemic could make people uncomfortable. I wasn't bothered by it, but I can see how some people may find it inappropriate for the setting.

Excellent experience so far through the Driver's Ed program: Jason is friendly and easy to communicate. He keeps the promise and does what he can to accommodate our need. Online system is easy to use. Look forward to the behind-the-wheel training. At this point the next available training slot is about 4 weeks out.

I had instructor Jason Park. He was very professional with my mother, and myself. I did not feel uncomfortable when I made any mistakes while driving, but it was was clear when they were made. He did a good job at keeping me calm, and he explained everything very clearly. I especially appreciated when he used a toy car to explain how to execute a three point turn, the visual helped immensely. Overall, a great first lesson.

AP Driving School was a great experience. Troi was our instructor for my daughter Nina. She was reluctant to drive and nervous. But Troi really made her feel comfortable and provided an experience that made her confident. She met with Troi for 3 sessions and he was thorough and knowledgeable. When she took her driving exam, she passed with flying colors! She was ready!

We had such a great experience with AP. I used them for both daughters. Jason was extremely nice and Ava felt very comfortable with him. It was a very smooth and easy process and I think both girls got a lot out of someone else helping them rather than their parents. Scheduling was fast and options plentiful. We have been having a great experience with AP driving school so far. When I brought up an issue with the owner, it was addressed immediately and in a very professional manner. My son has gained confidence behind the wheel due to the patient and helpful instruction he is receiving. And as a parents, we are receiving the assistance we need to help him be a good and safe driver.

We've had a great experience with AP Driving School. They answered a ton of questions that I had prior to buying. Scheduling appointments is so easy and you can do it online. My daughter's instructor is Randy and she said he's very patient with her, asks her what turns or intersections intimidate her, and then he'll have her do those turns/intersections over and over until she feels comfortable.

AP Driving School is the best! Owner Jason is very professional, polite, and patient with our son Austin. Teaching our own son to drive isn't the best for my blood pressure so we decided to use AP Driving school based off of a referral from one of my sons classmate that's already using them. My 16 year old's instructor at AP driving school was Jason Park, he was timely, professional and also funny. He is a retired engineer who does teaching for fun. We used his car for the driving test and he took extra time to give my son encouragement and pointers. He also sent us reminders for our lessons. As a busy mom I appreciated his followup. My son passed the driving test on his first attempt. If he is still there when my second son is a little older we hope to find him again.

My 16 year older daughter just got her permit & we did a couple lessons with the owner Jason. For some reason my daughter is not a natural at driving & she wasn't responding well to the lessons she had. So for the last lesson we tried Selena. Selena took on a whole new approach & made my daughter more confident behind the wheel. I made a complaint to Jason about the first 2 lessons & he made sure we were 100% satisfied with AP driving school & offered us make up lessons with Selena.

My kid has no problem doing J-turns and drifting now. Just kidding! : Lessons with Randy were great. Answered all my questions before and after lessons. Gave my kid great info and feedback. I asked multiple friends where their kids got driving lessons and they all said they used AP. I was not disappointed. Will be using again for my younger kid in a couple years.
