Call for basic information and the guy that picked up the phone had a horrible attitude. Doubt this company will make a dime while he remains an employee. So unnecessary.

Do not, for the love of God, learn to drive from William J. Thygesen. There is so much wrong with who he operates and with him in general. There is a reason most other schools have a waiting list for learning to drive, but he does not. First, the 5 Hour Test is done wrong. The office is a literally mess, with boxes and papers everywhere, and a literal stolen shopping cart being used as a shelf of some kind.

His Vehicle is often dirty, filled with discarded food wrappers, takeout bags, bottles, etc. On top of that, the car seems to often have some kind of trouble with it, ones even I, knowing little of vehicles, questioned him on and he refused to acknowledge. Either He or the Car smells, horribly. He only takes cash, and via the reviews here as well as calls he has answered while I was in the car with him, he doesn't give refunds back properly, if at all.

He teaches in the "5 Points off for this mistake, but I am not going to tell you how to correct it" way. He limits Driving to where the car can advertise to College Students, despite hating many of them for not properly speaking English, often speaking out loud about the number of foreign students and speaking badly of them. He seems to have little regard for pedestrians, especially if they do not cross properly on a crosswalk, even if they are only 2 feet off of it.

He refused to take me to my Road Test or let me schedule my final driving lesson with him that I paid for because someone else after me scheduled their road test for the same time, and because it was a CDL license, he took their money but never refunded me for my missing lesson nor took me to my Road Test. He scheduled my Road Test so far away from my home or his work that I had trouble getting to it.

He threatened to cancel my Road Test because I had my friend, a lawyer, call him about my missing lesson and him not taking me to the Road Test, which was part of the paid agreement.

Critical: Professionalism Parks his business vehicle in handicap designated parking spots with no tags and gives other handicap people rude comments when they question him about it!

Very unprofessional. His mouth and attitude is very nasty. I should've known better when we went to the office and it looked abandoned from the outside. His training car is digusting, it's filthy like he lives out of it, and it smells! My daughter had a 1:00pm lesson, she saw him pull up, grabbed her jacket and when she went outside he had already pulled off!

I called and asked, "what happened because you pulled off when my daughter was coming out", his reply was, "maybe she should've came out faster". I was appalled! It was literally 1:03pm! He said he wasn't coming back and that I needed to reschedule. I told him I wanted a refund because we wouldn't be continuing, he said I needed to write a letter requesting a refund.

When I asked to whom should I write the letter, his response was, "Buffalo CDL, that's who you paid isn't it?" Someone recommended him because he was a little cheaper than the other driving schools, so I didn't think to look at the reviews. I really wish I had because looking at them now it seems as though getting my refund won't be easy. I really hope I don't have to take him to court. He needs to be shut down.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value My husband decided not to take his classes after paying him. Per the signed receipt it states refund can take up to 8 weeks. It has been nearly 8 weeks so I called Bill to inquire and he threatened to take another 10 weeks if I called again after screaming at me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality, Value He is the worst person I ever met in my life. If you're not American don't take license course from him. He is the rudest person I ever seen. I wear hijab and that guy was so races toward me. When I wanted the refund he didn't give back my money. Please don't take license classes from him. He doesn't have any manners.

Do not train here. The experience of driving a Semi truck v. A Car is vastly different because of turning. You will not get a reliable or realistic experience here.

I I just received my CDL A unrestricted license through Bills training in minimal time. I saw a comment about any good reviews being fake reviews. I am an owner of a plumbing company in Buffalo, I was referred to Bill are buffalo CDL buy another contractor that I work alongside with. Bill got me through the course efficiently and quickly. Is an instructor that has an edge to him, I've seen another reviews where people call him harsh rude and many other things.

If you want to learn how to drive, follow proper procedure, and get a license, I recommend bill at Buffalo CDL to anyone. Let's be honest driving is a huge responsibility and when you're getting a commercial license it's even more of a responsibility. An instructor that is putting pressure on you and might be a little harsh with you is just doing his job. Because when you're on the road by yourself, you are completely on your own with your 30 foot plus truck. Thanks Bill

Here is my experience about buffalo cdl training in Niagara falls Blvd previously in Kenmore Ave. simply it was the worst experience I ever had in my entire life. I wanted to get cdl licence to work as a truck driver. Unfortunately I found buffalo cdl training close to my house so I went to apply in there. The owner of this school ( Bell ) cares ONLY about my money.

I paid him more than 3k in cash. I started training. They are not professionals specially that time when I drove with Bell himself. He frustrated me to the point I was about to have an accident more than twice. He was yelling and screaming like I work for him, not a customer who just paid him 3k for this training. I decided to cancel my training coz I could not stand these people way and of course I asked him for my refund.

He started playing games on me by saying after 8 weeks then 4 more weeks then 4 more weeks. It's been more than one year and I did not get my refund till the moment I'm writing this review. Just I wanted to warn people of this school coz I don't want any good person to get ripped off by this school. As a reminder, This Buffalo cdl training(Niagara falls boulevard, Amherst) is the biggest scam.

Don't believe anything the owner says as a reply to any review. First of all, there is no loyal customers because simply the owner William J has a long list of customers who are waiting to get their money back (refund) and of course they don't get anything because he does not pay and he told me take me to the court. He does not care. Any negative review you read in here is 100 % true and any positive review is just a scam from the owner to get more good people then to rip them off. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME GETTING A TRAINING AT THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE SIMPLY THEY DON'T TEACH YOU NOTHING AND IF YOU WITHDRAW FROM THE TRAINING YOU DON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK NEVER EVER. THIS SCHOOL(SCAAAAM) IS A REAL JOKE AND THIS OWNER I DO NOT KNOW WHY HE IS NOT BEHIND BARS UNTIL NOW.

This guy just called me with a horrible attitude saying o called him, but I have my license since 7 months ago on my own and he was just rude screaming "why are you fkn calling if you have a license" I was like I haven't called you at all and he was trying to go back and forth "disregard, don't ever call here again" he never said his name but going by the reviews it has to be the owner that's known to have rude attitude. Again, he called with a rude voice, never gave his name just said Buffalo CDL training and gave me nasty attitude when I responded that I haven't called and asked him if he prolly got my info from an old email or something?

Not sure how someone with ZERO customer service have a business for prospective professional CDL drivers. I looked into this place OVER a year ago, their prices and way of work was definitely not something I wanted to work with, too expensive and the classes weren't guaranteed because he could call out a class if anything came up "in his life". This place should get reviewed more so others are aware of his poor quality performance and extremely high prices.

I saw a driver throwing trash on the ground at a local drive through. We called to have the company intervene (we had the license plate). The person that answered the phone said he tells his driver to do that cause they dont have a garbage (they do it is earlier in the turn before the speaker). So you tell your driver to do something that is illegal and can result in a fine I ask? He called me a Retard, we hung up.this is obviously a classy operation.
