First off if you get sent to voice mail They will get back to you and if courses are booked or full ask to be called if there's an opening! Dont be scared to ask questions. Ihave been wanting my cdl for a very long time but prices were what was holding me up I had heard about this school and thought I'd check it out im very glad that I did yes the prices may scare you paying out of pocket but if you do your research it is not that bad I wanted my cdl fast so I didn't want to wait to take the course but I highly recommend it be patient.reason being is tractor trailer is not like a truck and trailer even if you drive long trailers they maneuver different!

I knew it's be hard but not that hard.where I feel the school needs improvement is the pre trip class, If a lot of people sign up it's packed and you're trying to squeeze in to hear and see and it's only in the morning.my first test i was scared I had already knew I was going to fail off how I was greeted the lady was rude and directed me into a wrong lane and I was at fault but you can't argue with the instructors so I signed up for another test.

If at all possible DEFINITELY ask for EDWARD!He is awesome he knows how hard it is and he lets it be known he will let you know your mistakes and helps you on if you completely screwed up or where you need adjustment. He sets you up for success.if you're more comfortable with a 10 or 8 speed let it be known before the test i did not know that if your wondering why you failed or how many points you got ask! EDWARD DID HIS JOB AMAZING!If you see this Edward thank you man!

My husband has been a truck driver before but his license needed renewing. He paid this school all the fees to get through all the steps that are needed for AZ licensing. Now last fee, the final pretrip and driving test, almost done! He answered the question with a pronoun, it! Wait, knows the term but failed, $250 just for that down the drain. He has to go back but now there's "inflation" so it's $300 to not say "it" this time. Good luck out there!

I just completed my 7 day course, did my testing, "which is not easy", but ended up getting my class A license. I reccomend this school, as they say "you don't have to be crazy to give it a try." Matt was my instructor for the majority of the training and he was very professional and enthusiastic about what he does. I saw, another comment, you have to be fully invested with your time and energy if you want to get your class A, and its true.

They helped me through most of it. and practicing backing, which I underestimated the difficulty in this but passed on my third attempt. Anyway, great place to train and get a CDL.

CDL Truck School is a great affordable school to get your CDL. I would recommend them to anyone I know. I took the pre trip class for about two weeks to prepare myself for the pre trip. There is a lot to remember on the per trip inspection. By the end of those two weeks I pretty much had everything memories. I got a great score on my pre trip inspection test.

Thank you very much for offering this class. You do have to parallel park a semi. I feel this is a very difficult task to perform. If you have a vehicle to practice with I highly recommend you do. Unfortunately I didn't have to vehicle to practice with and I failed the first time around. I went back today and was able the get through the parallel parking.

The other two parking test are easy and more practical ways of parking a semi. I'm sure others will be fine with these test. Just watch out for the parallel parking. The road test was the easiest part of the test and I did great. Overall all the staff was helpful with my questions and concerns when I was there every morning during the two weeks of pre trip class.

I am very satisfied with the outcome of my test and would recommend you giving the school a call to get scheduled up for your CDL Training. Thanks a million CDL Truck School.

I had a great experience at this school. My instructor was patient and his feedback was right on. He knew exactly how to help me every time I needed support or more directions. Special thanks to him (Lowell). I would strongly recommend this school to anyone who needs to get their CDL.

This by far is the best place to get your CDL. My instructor Ken has great knowledge about shifting, parallel parking, and the pre-trip inspection. I signed up for the 7 day course not ever knowing how to drive a tractor and trailer when I started but when my course was completed I knew all about how to drive combination vehicles. I've gotten my CDL Class B and then upgraded to Class A here at this school. They were patient with me every step of the way. Thank you all @ CDL Truck School Inc.

Nothing but good things to say about this school. I did the 7 day course for my class a license and learned a lot from my instructor Matt (shout out to him I wouldn't have my license without his help). Very professional never had any issues understanding the process to get to the end goal. One tip I will give about this school is don't expect to be given a license for participation you need to be fully invested in this and eat, breath, and sleep your class a. Noticed that there was some salty people go in and out but after chatting with a few of them realized that they expected to get a easy license out of this school. Thanks again for a great experience over there at CDL Truck School INC. you guys were fantastic. Btw I never leave reviews but I had to put my experience here!

I will not say it is a super easy task to get your CDL but with the help of this school and following their guidance (example attending several pre-trip classes and cheat sheets) you can get your CDL in a fast 7 days. First day of driving (never even started a semi before) I was shifting and driving back to the school in traffic. Everyone was extremely helpful and the cost/time is a huge appeal! Not to mention with the new law change as of Feb. 2022, you must attend a school now.

I took the 7 day course. My instructor Lowell was knowledgeable and professional. It is clear that all the staff want to help future driver's succeed in obtaining whichever class license they are going for. I am happy i chose this school. They were accommodating and responsive. Kala always returned my calls as long as i left a message. And they got me in sooner do to a cancellation. Thank you for helping me recieve my class a manual license.

This is where I obtained my CDL A, from front desk to teachers they are all awesome and down to earth, I highly recommend this school to anyone trying to get that commercial license, also if you are planning to pass school here please do not study pre trip out of YouTube videos (no matter how pro they look). Also talk to all the teachers, they all super friendly and do care, and each will teach you in a different way and trust me one of them will "click" And as a final advice. "You better study, study and then study some more, you won't get your CDL just by participating."

There is so much conflict of interest here its unbelievable. Bald dude walking around with a pistol on his hip thinking someone is gonna rob the place. Also believes schools teach sex to 7-year old's that's why his daughter is home schooled. Trump Pence 2020 Banner still posted on their office, someone might wanna tell them it was an expiration date.

We are 7 Days away from 2022 and Joe Biden is the president. They refuse to serve you if you have a mask on, girl up front pointed to another poster that red #OpenAZNow said we can't help you if you have your mask on. Level of ignorance is 300% higher than the caveman era. If 0-Star was an option, this place would achieve it.

This was my second time coming to this school. Once several years back for my Class B so I decided to step it up to the Class A and this was my first and only choice again. When I first called to take the 7 Day Class A course I was told they were booked out for 8-10 weeks but Kayla put me on a call list if someone canceled. Its a busy school, but I received a called the following week so don't let that deter you and be ready to go. Received great instructions from my trainer Lowell who was patient and taught me what I needed to know to pass the skills and driving tests.

Thanks to Scott, Michelle and Matt for the great Pre Trip Classes. They teach you a simple, consistent and repetitive format to do a thorough vehicle inspection. Special thanks to my Examiner Mickey, she made the test instructions clear and me comfortable taking it. You need your permit, medical DOT card and drivers application with the test scores from the MVD. Bring it all the first day. Study and listen to this team of experts and you'll be glad you spent your money here. Thanks Everyone! Garry C.

If you're considering an inexpensive fast-track to commercial licensing, this is one of the top schools to attend, with available flex options to take training segments a la carte, or dive all the way in and attend their 7-day crash. But don't confuse fast-track with fast-breaks, because you do earn your own score here, period. The examiners are extremely fair but firm, and you need to understand the fundamentals BEFORE you schedule your final or they're going to stop the test and send you home for another day or offer you additional training.

Simple as that. This is a well-paid, serious industry and they're not going to pass you until you demonstrate measurable proficiency the STATE is looking for. 99% of the negative reviews about this place are coming from those that probably thought this was a fly-by-night, illegitimated company that'll certify anyone, and didn't get what they expected to receive.

So naturally, they'll beat up on the staff. Don't listen to it. I was a complete rookie having never touched a commercial motor vehicle in my life and they got me up to speed and passed all the nationals in four freaking days for under $650. Not typical, but it goes to show that: if you listen closely, follow their directions and then apply that knowledge, you too can be off the paper and have your hard card in just a few days.

It is possible folks. Bottom line: YOU have to put in the work here and utilize the knowledge they give you, but they'll drop enough tools in your bag to nail the board down if the hammer fails. Just call, get scheduled, LEARN and get driving sooner. Do it. Or go spend $6,000 on that racket (rhymes with drift) school with a $150 'seating fee' due up front. Your choice.

I took the 7day course to get my CDL and I can honestly say this place 110% legitimate! You get exactly what you put into it. Study hard for the 7day period and you should have 0 issues with the Final exam.

I took the 7 day training course and I'm really pleased with ALL the staff and trainers at this school. Don't believe the negative reviews because I never drove a big truck and just today received my class A CDL. Outstanding trainers. Just put in the work and listen to your trainers and you'll be fine. Thanks Lowell and Scott for helping me with everything. Best Wishes always. Ted Hopkins

Hello! If you're reading this, you found the right place! Don't forget, you NEED your permit to attend this program. Read the ADOT manual. Focus on the chapters necessary for class A or B. Review the test your knowledge questions on each section. Go take the permit tests & take your permit to this program! So my father located this business & informed me of mixed opinions from randoms. Personally, I was very impressed.

I wasn't expecting so much progress as a one week student, but thankfully the instructors made it all possible. Starting off with pre-trip inspection, i suggest you take notes, attend as many as possible to learn from the best, aka Michelle, the queen of pre-trip inspection. She makes learning fun & memorable. Thank you Michelle! My driving instructor was Lowell.

Huge thank you to Lowell for being so patient with me. He offered so much motivation & instruction that suited my learning style, which accommodated me to better comprehend/understand & remember the necessities for testing. Huge thank you to Lowell = Highly recommend! Mickey, don't be fooled by the petite female, she can out drive anybody! She offered me very helpful tips & tricks that helped me be a better driver.

Thank you Mickey for being such a kind & patient instructor. Scott, the man! Great instructor, Great evaluator, I always felt comfortable & safe. I was worried about feeling intimidated, indecisive & most of all afraid of failure, but all instructors made me feel comfortable & welcomed! Also, thank you for providing cold water for everybody. That was an excellent touch. Highly recommended this business to anybody & everybody. Men& women. All shapes, sizes, colors :-

Today I completed my class A exam and passed the test after completing this schools 7 day student program. In my opinion this school offers a tremendous value with the package I signed up for. Mickey was my trainer, she was patient, thorough and knowledgeable. Over the 7 days of training we went over everything in the book and I was drilled on my pre trip.

This course prepped me very well for the test. I had interactions with several other staff members or had questions for them. Everybody was very pleasant and took the time to explain things. I will be highly recommending this school to the towing company I work for to send future heavy wrecker operators to. Thanks guys!

I got my CDL a few days ago. The people are amazing here. They are very nice and will answer any questions you have. The front desk girl is very nice and was extremely informational. She was able to answer all my questions. I took my DMV paperwork in and the DMV didn't fill it out correctly so I had to go back to DMV to have them fix it. It was great that they took the time to review the paperwork. Richard did my driving test and pretip inspection.

I was so nervous and he told me to relax and just go slow. It was nice to hear that. I wasn't rushed at all. I was able to take my time and make sure I didn't miss anything. I would recommend them to everyone. Great school great people and great service all the way around. Thank you so much.

I got both my automatic only and finally my manual transmission class a cdls here. I also took the pre trip inspection class a few times and 4 hours of backing lessons. Ryan was my instructor for every class I took. His instruction and tips helped me to pass my exams. Don't sign up for the exam until you know the pre trip inside and out, can parallel park without thinking twice, and can drive a combo vehicle in heavy traffic safely.

Only take the exam when you know you will pass. If you only think you'll pass, you probably won't. I'd recommend taking the pre trip class 10 times, taking 4-6 hours of backing classes, and 6-10 hours of shifting classes if you're starting from scratch and know nothing about driving a combo vehicle. I'm very happy with what I learned at CDL Truck School.

Great place to get your CDL. Also great place to get it quick then going to other schools paying thousands of dollars. But if you don't know how to drive a manual make sure you practice a lot. This is not like a normal school where you take your time, cause time costs money and you will be spending a lot of money if you need more time. They teach you the pre trip and the 3 back up tests and the road test. Classes are usually early mornings.

Before learning the pre trip and everything you must need to have your permit. They have some books to help you as well if u didn't get it yet. Also if you practice and take your test in a automatic truck you will be restricted and can't drive a manual. If you test in a manual you will not be restricted. But if your new to this and don't know anything.

I suggest a different school. If you wanna learn like every thing. Like backing it was my first time and the guy got frustrated with me. I didn't like that. After that they switched me instructors.

I had recently graduated from a Class A CDL program in Maryland. Unfortunately I failed my first skills test in I had failed my alley dock test in DC and was about to lose out on a job opportunity as I had limited time to retest in DC (no openings at DMV for another month). I had a friend who had previously done the school in Phoenix and recommended it to me as soon as he knew of the situation I was in.

The difference between the staff/instruction between the institutions was night and day. Justus was able to accommodate my girlfriend and I in a pinch. The instruction we learned at the school (week long) was far superior to what we had received in Maryland (three week). Justus helped me out with my skills and I had them down in no time, his instruction helped me grasp all the concepts needed to be successful.

In regards to my shifting methods and what I had learned in Maryland, I was very rough (missing/grinding gears). Michelle pulled me aside and broke it all down for me into the simplest of terms and everything clicked for me. My shifting was so poor when I arrived in Arizona I felt compelled to settle for an "automatic" restriction. Her instruction was an eye opener and I'm so thankful and greatful for what she did to help me in my career. The instructors genuinely care for the success of their students. Nothing but good things to say about this company/staff. Thank you.

The only problem with this school is one employee ( I hope it is just one employee). I have been sending my employees to this school to get their licenses for a few years now. I can tell you that I haven't really had any problems until this morning. I called to schedule one of my employees some time to take a few pretest classes and the CDL driving test.

The guy who called me back was the rudest person I have come across in a long time. Saying stuff like listen to what I'm telling you and take your business somewhere else. So I did hear him and go somewhere else with my business. If you guys are look for professional service try these guys https://phoenixtruckdrivinginstitute.com/. No I do not work for them but if I'm paying for a service I have to demand some respect and a little courtesy. Do spend your money with people who don't respect you.

Very good school. I registered for the 7 day class. Staff was very informative and showing up to pre-trip class for 4 days in a row helped a lot. Scott Campbell was my instructor and was very knowledgeable about driving habits and teaches you step by step on how to back up, parallel park and driving skills for the road. Passed my driving test on the eighth day. Take your time and study. And most of all, listen to all the info your instructors tell you. It will help a lot.
