Fact Now in 2012, due to many requests from our customers we are adding Driver Education to our course offerings. Using the same Adult Learning Techniques we have been using for years, it is our goal to eliminate the boring classroom times and to stimulate students to learn with understanding, not memorization.

Most driver education courses have become boring lectures with plenty of memorization. FACT Driver Education involves the student in his/her own learning experience making memorization unnecessary. Our classroom and auditorium are dedicated to safety training only and provides a comfortable learning environment and is conveniently located in Yakima at 112 West Nob Hill. Our Washington State certified instructors strive to make instruction to drive safely enjoyable.

It is our goal to provide you with the best learning experience possible. Whether you want to obtain your license or just develop better driving skills, our professional instructors are here to help. Our instructors are chosen for not only their personal driving skills, but their understanding of the learning process and their dedication to you, the student. Many want to become FACT Instructors but we will only provide you with the best of the best.

I took a CPR class here today and to be honest was dreading it beforehand, the class was actually engaging and enjoyable and I learned so much. The instructors were very friendly and easy to ask questions and so very knowledgeable.

A little bit of misunderstanding of information on their website about courses needed, to get endorsement, but it was a very good course in basic knowledge of motorcycles and riding. Which taking the basic or basic + course you can, if you pass the testing, get your permit. You will need to take another advanced course to get your endorsement license, if you want or need the school's motorcycles.

If you can get your own for testing for endorsement, you will need to pay extra for the endorsement written test and for the skills test. Or to use their motorcycles you will need to take the advanced course ($230) or better book a private lesson min. 2 hrs for $160 and that includes costs for testing and using motorcycle. Over all very good services and training, good instructions and instructors.

The basic course allows you to learn what is expected in WA and can help you remember what you forgot or just never thought was important. And at last remember to be safe out there for you and others, because your families want you back home safe! Regards, Sir David, Hereditary Prince of Powys.

My child is going through the classes here. He is doing fine with the classes but during these hard times of Covid he got sick. He has a drive scheduled and i called to advise them that he has fallen ill. I was told since it is a cancelation without 24 hour notice I would be billed 50$, i am a single parent and already paid a lot for the classes. I understand if this was a cancellation for whatever reason other than being ill.

So they will put their other students and drivers at risk of coming in contact with someone that is ill instead of understanding these hard times and rescheduling due to circumstances. So unprofessional, we can't predict that he was going to fall ill.

This place is a horrible! I used Fact to take my first written permit test. They would not let me schedule for the permit skills test until I passed the written. They couldn't fit me in for the written for over a week. This made it so when I did pass the written. I missed the next spot for skills testing. This put me over a month out for scheduling the skills test.

The test was $60.00 bucks. I payed for a spot a month out with the understanding that I could cancel and receive a refund, if I could make better arrangements. I ended up using Central Washington Motorcycle Training out of Wenatchee. I had a great experience with them. CWMT. They had everything done to get my endorsement in one day. that was my permit skills test.

My advanced endorsement written test. And the endorsement skills test. They had Motorcycles for rent for $40.00. I was in for testing with them in three days after my mistake trying to use Fact. CWMT had the most friendly tester. His name is DJ. He was very skilled and efficient. When I called to cancel my appointment with Fact, I was told of course I would have to wait a week for a supervisor to come in.

A week later I received a call from a number out of Iran. Found this unprofessional and a little sketchy. The lady left a message informing me they wouldn't reimburse the $60 fee. I went in to ask why. She was extremely rude about it. All I could get out of her was, and I "quote" You can't do anything about it. You should have kept your appointment." Don't waste you money on this place. I know its tough commuting to Wenatchee for some. However it's completely worth it.

I had the pleasure of participating in a class with instructors Heather and Irving who did an excellent job teaching in the classroom and range. They were friendly, fun and informative and i highly recommended their classes.

Let me start me start by saying I arrived about 20 minutes earlier for my drivers test however I was not attended until about 30 minutes had wasted away since I had gotten there. I was extremely disappointed by this since this was not my first visit to FACT, I guess that first experience was a complete facade. About halfway through my exam I was told to move into another room in the building, this really threw off my concentration not there was much since everyone in building was being extremely loud.

I didn't have much room for my thoughts and my concentration was thrown out the window. The instructors don't seem entirely interested in their jobs either nor does the secretary. Circling back to my wait, I was literally just sitting around in chair for nearly half an hour until finally they decided to attend me, unbelievable that someone shows up early for an appointment and is made to wait. (really unprofessional, great job guys)

Took the intermediate course and passed it after not having ridden for 20+ years. Appreciated their patience with the written test and riding test. Here's a couple of tips before you take the class that will improve your experience. RIDER HANDBOOK - Get an advance copy of it and study that booklet vs the DOL MOTORCYCLE OPERATOR MANUAL, test questions are based on their handbook. FIND A SMALL bike and practice. Clutch, throttle, brake control critical, but, trying to master those controls in class plus their course is difficult.

Any frustration should be at WSDOL for not allowing new riders to take just a written test, get a permit, then practice at home at local schools parking lot, then take a riding test.

I took the intermediate motorcycle course. Instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was set up well, so all I had to do was pay attention and learn. No complaints.

Awful experience here and I ended up quitting the motorcycle training class because one of the instructors kept making it a competitive environment instead of a learning one. He was rude sarcastic and insensitive to those that had never ridden before. I didn't feel safe on their bikes either.

Stay away from this place like the plague; especially a driving instructor named Dave. The guy is dishonest and lied about some improper maneuvers my wife allegedly made during her driving exam. He claimed she didn't come to a complete stop (rolled through it, or did a "California" stop), yet when I drove with my wife in the weeks leading up to the exam she never did this; in fact her habit had been to count 1-1 thousand, 2-1 thousand before moving forward in any intersection with a stop sign, just as I had taught her.

When I called him out on this, one of the first things he said about it was "I am not trying to make money for the company" (a guilty conscience often speaks a persons true intentions out loud when that person is confronted) - so basically, given the lies and this statement, it is quite evident to me he IS trying to make money as more driving exams = more money for him and the company. Going to try out the other options for driving exams here in Yakima. Hopefully they will be more honest than this place. If you have to use this place, then try to get a different instructor than Dave.
