Dishonest business practices and a complete rip off.

Paid $399 for 3 90 minutes lessons plus use of the vehicle for licensing road test for $200 extra. $599 total plus fees.

She picks the student up, drives 30 minutes to another location. Then instructs student for 30 minutes. Then drives student back home. That's a 90 minute lesson to her. 30 minutes of teaching and allowing the student to drive, 60 minutes of her driving and chatting.

She says she does not yet trust this student to drive the vehicle to the site.. YOU ARE BEING PAID TO TEACH DRIVING. There is no reason to drive 30 minutes away to begin the lesson, that's actually a crazy way to do this. There are roads and parking lots all over, but she prefers to intentionally eat away at the lesson time.

Then after the 4.5 hours of "lessons" (1.5 hours of actual lessons + 3 hours of her driving and chatting), we are looking to use the vehicle for the road test.

She says no, the student is not ready for the test. Buy more lessons, she says. Not buying more lessons from you, please return the extra $200 we paid for the test. She says no. Excuse me???

She says they have a policy of no refunds... But you don't have a policy to fulfill the services for which you were paid?

She says it's in the terms and conditions that the instructor has sole discretion yada yada. OK, that is the legal justification for why you think you can get away with it. What is the moral justification? What did you do to earn that extra $200? What did the student receive for paying it to you?

Ended up getting $100 refunded after a headache and much argument. So the final net total was $499 plus fees for 90 minutes of teaching and no test.

This is a complete scam and rip off. They will look for any reason to not do her job and keep your money anyway.

Do not let it happen to you. Go elsewhere for your own sake. It feels very bad to be taken advantage of and spend that kind of money for basically nothing in return.

P.S. This is a new owner, she just took over for the previous owner who retired. So any previous good reputation should be disregarded.

This was the BEST thing we could have done for our new driver! Carolina was so kind and professional; she made my daughter feel so comfortable and boosted her confidence level. She took her on the exact route that she would be taking on her drivers test, so she would know exactly what to do when the time came. And she passed her test first time! I would highly recommend Life Saver Driving Academy to all new drivers!

I had such a great experience with Life Saver Driving Academy! As a first time older driver I knew the best way to ever get me on the road would to find a really great driving school. Carolina is very knowledgeable, patent and kind and gave me the confidence to finally get my license and pass the road test on the first try.

Mrs. Mixon was amazing with my son. Texted me after his first lesson to let me know he did a great job (my husband picked him up). By the third lesson, she let me know he was doing a great job and ready to take his test, so we got on the ball getting that scheduled even though he had a few more lessons with her. LSDA provides a great service to inexperienced drivers. I believe instructor taught driving is a beneficial step in a teenager getting their license because it is an unbiased party in the vehicle with them and not a parent constantly harping on them. He took his test and passed and even got a "great job" from the tester. Highly recommend LifeSaver Driving Academy.

Ms.Mixon was excellent with our son who has high functioning autism and type one diabetes. He felt very comfortable learning from her. We saw tremendous improvement in his driving skills after completing the six session course. His confidence with driving has grown. Prior to his lessons he was very insecure and a bit scared to drive, despite having drivers education in high school. Plus he used their car for the test and got in an extra lesson before the test. He passed ! I would definitely recommend Life Saver Academy.

The instructor is the best coach one can ever have training for driving. You totally understand the psychology of a new driver. Along with your theory concepts, you know how to calm the driver's mind with your instructions and have him/her in a good confident state of mind which is crucial for driving. One feels confident and safe driving with you and more important certainly becomes a better driver overall. I can't thank you enough for this.

The instructor has been a really big help to me on getting me through this. I want to thank him for helping me and believing in me. I've never been so happy in my life. This is all thanks to him.

I'm so glad I took the time to start driving lessons. The instructor is great! He takes the time to answer questions and gives great tips you''ll use for the rest of your life. I've been working to get my license for 10 years and I finally passed the second time I took the test! I totally recommend!

John was great to work with. He was very kind and patient to our daughter. The day of her driving test another of John's students was there and got a perfect score on her test. When our daughter completed her test she had a huge smile on her face and said she got a perfect score. We will be using him again soon when our son is ready to start driving.

We had a great experience working with John. Prior to her on the road practice sessions, my daughter felt nervous about attempting the road test. After her sessions, she was confident and did extremely well on her road test. I feel she is a stronger driver with the tips John provided in her sessions. We would absolutely recommend John's services!

As a student driver who was scared of driving I can say, take lessons from here. I was neither once uncomfortable while driving with my instructor, and learned so much. The tips and tricks I learned from here are amazing and I am now comfortable in driving.
