Since 1966, our mission is to provide excellence while meeting the unique needs of all students. All students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be a safe and responsible driver. Students will learn to drive with proactive driving skills that help them recognize problems in the driving scene and develop appropriate solutions to make decisions regarding the practices of other drivers. This education will enable them with the skills necessary to function safely in a complex driving environment.

Approved Driver Safety Course
$365.00
This class completes all the State of Nebraska requirements effective January 1, 1999 for students 14-17 years of age. This course also satisfies most insurance company requirements for driver education. After completing this course a student will be able to obtain their Provisional Operators Permit (POP). A Drive Test Waiver Form and Certificate for Insurance are received upon completion of this course.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Dr. Patrick Venditte Ed.D graduated from Cathedral High School and Peru State Teachers College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He received his Masters and Specialist Degree in Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He continued his studies at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln where he earned an addition Specialist Degree in Gerontology and a Doctorate in Education.

Mr. Tony Venditte graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. He is a former Douglas County Deputy Sherriff and has been working for Cornhusker Driving School for 20 years. He is licensed with the State of Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. He is Cornhusker Driving School's Master Instructor. He is certified with State of Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. Mr. Venditte teaches both classroom and behind the wheel driving instruction.

Classroom Instructor & Office Manager
Mrs. Mindy Venditte also graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. She has been the secretary for Cornhusker Driving School for over ten years. Two years ago she also received her Driver's Education Endorsement from Nebraska Safety Center. She is the main classroom instructor for Cornhusker Driving School. She is certified to teach the Approved Driver Safety Course by the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles.

Mr. Randy Leader is a retired Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) Officer. He was a certified instructor for the NSP Training Academy and Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center. He taught Emergency Vehicle Operations for the NSP. He has also taught Driver Improvement Course and instructors for AAA. He obtained Driver's Education Endorsement from Nebraska Safety Center. Randy has been an employee with Cornhusker Driving School for over 6 years.
