Southwest Safety Training has been Acadiana's leader in driver education since 1995, making us the oldest and most experienced driving school in Lafayette. We have trained over 45,000 drivers while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Our team includes three of only six Bioptic Telescopic Lens specialists in Louisiana, and we are the only school in the region certified to train the handicapped and blind. We pioneered the first privatized DMV facility in Acadiana, offering convenient one-stop services for driver licensing and vehicle registration. Our instructors are CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, reflecting our commitment to safety beyond just driving instruction.
