A favorite part of training with Behind the Wheel is practice lessons in one of our Audi A4 Quattro. Your goal is to get your driver's license. Our goal is to make you a safe driver on the road. Together, we can accomplish both.

My name is Tom Flynn. I own and operate Behind The Wheel School of Driving.I have lived in the Heights community for 30 years, raising a family with my wife Penny - a teacher at Onaway Elementary in Shaker Heights. Before starting the BTW School I worked as an outside sales representative for P&G. I saw examples of good, bad and ugly driving practices exhibited on our roadways daily. During those 20 plus years, I won numerous safe driving awards while logging three times the miles of the average driver. Behind the Wheel School of Driving allows me to follow my passion for instructing children. I have been active in coaching both hockey and baseball the past 17 years as a hobby. Today, my staff and I are pleased to offer state certified driving instruction based on safety and respect for others who share the road. Learning to drive can be fun! So come along for the ride, better yet you drive!
