Driving Classes
Our comprehensive 30-hour classroom instruction covers vehicle systems, traffic laws, and safety protocols. Students learn fluid checks, instrument interpretation, and Tennessee-specific driving regulations. The curriculum combines AAA How to Drive materials with real-world scenario discussions to prepare new drivers for practical challenges.
Behind-the-Wheel Training
Six hours of professional on-road instruction begin with basic maneuvers on controlled courses before progressing to real traffic situations. Instructors use dual-control vehicles to ensure safety while teaching braking techniques, intersection navigation, and emergency response procedures in various conditions.
Manual Shift Instruction
Specialized programs teach manual transmission operation using a C5 Corvette. The Tail of the Dragon package includes mountain driving experience with elevation changes and complex curves. This advanced training focuses on gear control, clutch management, and performance driving techniques for licensed drivers.
Additional Driving Lessons
Customizable packages add 10-40 hours of personalized instruction to build confidence. Sessions occur at different times and days to expose students to varied traffic patterns. These lessons help develop situational awareness and decision-making skills for challenging driving environments.
Road Test Preparation
We administer official road tests meeting Tennessee requirements. Training includes DMV procedure familiarization, vehicle inspection protocols, and maneuver practice. Our program ensures students meet all state standards while developing the skills needed for long-term driving safety.

What does the standard driving package include?
Our $600 package includes 30 classroom hours covering vehicle systems and traffic laws, plus 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training in dual-control vehicles.
Do you offer manual transmission training?
Yes, we provide specialized stick shift instruction using a C5 Corvette, including a mountain driving experience on the Tail of the Dragon route for $500-$600.
Can I schedule additional driving lessons?
We offer customizable packages adding 10-40 hours of instruction at $125 per lesson, helping students build confidence in diverse traffic conditions.
How do I reschedule a lesson?
Contact us via email to reschedule. Changes made less than 30 days before class start incur a $150 fee, while earlier changes have lower fees.

I used to be a 'teach yourself' kind of guy but through experience have found great benefit in professional training, be that one hour, one lesson, or many hours and lessons. There is usually one key take-away from every class I've attended. In motorcycle rider education it was the position of my wrist on the throttle. In your class, it was how to adjust the mirrors to eliminate the blind-spot. I've passed that one on to many of my friends and they too are amazed. I feel much more confident that my son has the tools to be a safe driver as a result of your training program and would highly recommend it to new and experienced drivers as well.

I am leaving in elizabethton TN and I look through Google about driving lessons for my daughter and found drive 4 academy than email to greg who is president and he did reply back very quick and answered all my questions and set me up with my time and schedule And we did get trained from teacher name Tony he is very kind and helpful to make my daughter learn everything I will suggest all to go this academy for driving lessons because our kids safety is our goal and they will finish your goals

As good as, if not better than a quality college level class on driving, directed at teens in a consumable and realistic way. Lots of work, but it's not miserable or busy work. The teachers are passionate, helpful, and charismatic. The building is a little small, but they've got working AC and cold water even on the hottest days. Every kid is garunteed the materials they need to pass. The classes go from early in the morning to dinner time, at least in my experience, so book a few completely free days you plan to dedicate to school. Worth it for the money it costs! Take it from me, I'm a student there!

I took 4 behind the wheel lessons here and it's a real life-changer for me. I easily passed the driving skill test after 3 lessons and feel much more confident now. It's an excellent school and the instructors are highly professional and passionate (I worked with Beth, Jesse and Darrin). In my opinion it's really a top notch school.

This class is an absolute money scam. Teachers are horrible rude. Everything they do is desined to get money. The pretend to prepare kids for driving but in reality do nothing. They're not real teacher. The only thing the teach kids how to scam people. They put kids in cars with no instructions and expect them to figure it out and when they can't the teacher loose their tempers.
