5 Star Academy's primary purpose is to train graduates to obtain entry level positions in the trucking industry. All Certificate programs provide classroom/lab instruction and hands-on driving time. All driving time is completed with only one student per truck. Even if you've never been inside a big truck, our professionally designed training helps you qualify for your CDL and puts you on the fast track to being a pro trucker. In fact, our CDL training program includes a special class to prepare you for the written exam at the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain your CDL permit.

General Description: This program is 30 clock hours, designed to meet the needs of those students with no prior knowledge or experience as a Forklift Operator. It includes 10 hours in the classroom, 10 hours of lab instruction and 10 hours behind the wheel experience (includes exam). The duration of the program is from 3 to 7 -days.
