Driving Academy

At Driving Academy in the Trenton area, we offer comprehensive CDL instruction for students seeking Class A, Class B, or Class B+P licensing. Our FMCSA-approved programs bring together classroom learning and practical driving experience to prepare students for the required written permit and road tests in New Jersey. The Guaranteed CDL Training option provides over 100 hours of training, including classroom lessons, yard instruction, and road preparation, supported by experienced instructors. Practice vehicle rentals and unlimited road test attempts are included. Students who require complete CDL preparation may enroll in a full course, which covers earning the permit and license, while those who already possess a permit can choose a half course centered on parking, inspections, yard skills, and road driving.

We offer flexible training throughout the week, with daytime, nighttime, and weekend availability so students can accommodate work and family responsibilities. Our payment plans allow enrollment with a starting payment of only $500. Once students graduate, lifetime job placement assistance continues to be available. The Hamilton Township facility features a one-acre practice yard and state-of-the-art simulators that reproduce realistic traffic, weather, vibrations, and gear-shifting conditions. Students can build experience in the simulator before moving into an actual truck and can further practice their driving skills on nearby Route 1. Our qualified instructors combine years of teaching and professional truck-driving experience, while our staff understands English and Spanish. We provide the training, practice, and ongoing support designed to help students pursue their CDL and advance toward a commercial driving career.
